I've been photographing people for over 15 years. What began as a childhood hobby, has evolved into a genuine passion that I'm proud to call my profession.

For the past 8 years, weddings have been my focus. I started by second shooting and assisting any chance I could, gradually refining my style and skills. Indigo River Photo came to life in January 2018, 3 months after welcoming my son into the world. It's truly an honor to run a business where I get to capture the most precious memories for others—something I truly love and that brings me immense joy.

Beyond the Lens...

When I'm not capturing all of those unforgettable moments, you'll likely find me soaking up quality time with my family. I've also got a knack for thrift shopping with friends and can't resist a good deal. I love wandering around town exploring museums, cafes and our awesome parks. I'm always on the hunt for good food. If I'm not eating I may be in baking up something sweet in my own kitchen or channeling my creative side into planning holiday and party decor. And if I'm not caught up in any of those, chances are I'm probably immersed in shooting or editing a session or wedding!

Fun Facts About me

I'm a mom.

I've got an 8 year old son who is super energetic and obsessed with Legos & Soccer. It's so cool being able to share things with him from my own childhood and to see his personality developing. Being a mom has taught me so much about myself, unconditional love & how to slow down and appreciate the little things. I am a mother first of all things.

I work in fashion.

A few days during the week I play the role of a Fashion Stylist and Studio Assistant at the Home Shopping Network in the photo studio. I get to dress the models for photo shoots and put together looks for the website. I love being on set with the team and having another creative outlet still related to photography and fashion.

I'm a teacher.

For the past few years I've also had the opportunity to teach children in a local art and science program with The Art of Science. They host STEM based after school programs and camps for elementary aged kids. Being around the kids is so fun and I love seeing the awe and wonder in their eyes when they learn about something new.

I love to bake.

Baking has become one of my favorite things to do in my free time. I love gifting baked goods to my friends and neighbors randomly. I love watching baking videos and trying out new recipes especially around the holidays. It would be a dream to be able to attend a french baking class or workshop to really hone in on my skills.

I'm learning french.

I have been learning french for the past year and a half, and while I haven't been super strict with it, I do think I've made a lot of progress. I like to put on french podcasts and lessons while driving in the car- for some reason it helps me focus. I haven't been to France yet but its been on my list for so long. I would love to travel and work there in the near future and immerse myself in the culture.

I'm a huge foodie.

I'm a huge foodie and always on the lookout for the latest and greatest restaurants in town. My friends and I are always making lists of places we want to try and I love hosting dinner parties with them. Sometimes I think about starting a food blog and if I had more hours in my day I definitely would. If you need some recommendations, I've got you covered.

I love holidays & decorating.

Planning parties & Holiday events are super fun for me. Any excuse to get the people you love together and have some festive fun is always a yes in my book! Since having my son I think it's only grown being able to plan his birthdays and share the magic of holiday decor with him.

I'm a big Harry Potter fan.

My love for Harry Potter and the wizarding world started when I was 9, when my mom brought home the first book for me to read. I loved it so much and was so excited to read the whole series, which then turned into the movies which then turned into the theme parks. My son and I recently visited London and we did a Harry Potter film tour and it was so beyond cool.
