Capturing genuine moments from an Editorial perspective.
I pride myself on creating heirloom quality images that are timeless and elegant. Photography to me isn't just about clicking a button on my camera and calling it a day. I want to become fully immersed within the shoot and build relationships with the people around me so that they feel relaxed and free to express themselves naturally. I love to represent both the formality of the occasion and those caught off-guard moments in my work.
Being more than just your photographer is important to me - I want you to think of me as a good friend, the kind who is there to help you when you need it; From styling, to wardrobe, to finding the perfect location, I'll be right there. If you're getting married, I'll most likely tear up during your vows, laugh along with you during those best friend speeches, and get into the middle of the dance floor with you. I want you to put your trust in me & let go, knowing that I've got your back!
We'd be a good match if you:
-Value genuine emotion & connection
-Love my work & envision yourself in my photos
-Believe in good energy, transparency & positivity
-Are looking for an inclusive, open minded & calm photographer who is detail oriented & pours their heart and soul into everything they do.
My main goal as your photographer is making sure you look and feel confident and comfortable during your shoot.
My style of shooting is a mix of documentary and directorial. I try to let the day unfold naturally but also give lots of direction as far as portraits and posing goes. I’m all about intimate connections and having you feeling good in front of the camera. One way I do this is by using prompts and poses during portrait time.
Most people are not professional models and aren't used to being in front of the camera and I totally feel that because Hi, that's me too and that is totally okay! (what do I do with my hands?!) But don't fret, I've got your back. I'll make sure you look your best, and if not, we will move around to create that natural looking flow and emotion. (Hello laughing smiles!)
I have watched so many people blossom before my eyes and go from nervous or awkward, to letting loose, having fun & feeling comfortable in front of the camera. It's moments like this that fuel my fire and make me realize how much I love doing what I do.
